Stella L. O'Bryant, beloved daughter of John F. Maddox and the late Carrie Mae Maddox went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2011. Stella is survived by her daughters, Tammy Matthews of Loganville, GA and Tonya McLaughlin of Cumming, GA, their respective husbands, David and Jamie; as well as 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brothers, Steve Maddox of Lawrenceville, GA and Bobby Maddox of Monroe, GA., their respective wives, Gayle and Judy; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Maddox. The body will be cremated. A memorial service to celebrate her life is planned for Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Victorious Life Church, www.vlcog.com 1615 Old McDonough Hwy., Conyers, GA 30094. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or The National Kidney Foundation.
