The Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation's 10th Annual Tennis Tournament, a fundraiser for breast cancer early detection and education efforts, saw a resounding turnout with 104 players during the tournament Aug. 22-23.
Friday night featured a mixed round robin at Four Seasons Racquet Club in Snellville. The Men's winner was Steve Parent-Lew and Women's winner was Anita Whitten.
On Saturday, KCAF held the Four Person Team competition at Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville. The Men's winning team consisted of Mark Gray, David Groff, Chad Reed and Stephen Vick. The Women's winning team consisted of Christy Kerns, Claudia Moeller, Kimberly Mohr, and Pamela Patterson
KCAF recognized two women for their Spirit Award - Kiva Schindler and Diane Reagan (pictured, releasing doves).
The 10th anniversary celebration, with a Mexican Fiesta theme, was held at Summit Chase featuring silent auction items for bid and a raffled Yeti cooler filled with liquor, won by James Atkins.
