A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northern Newton County and Rockdale County and southwestern Walton County Tuesday afternoon. The storm is able to produce quarter-sized hail and winds of up to 60 miles per hour. Warning locations include the Georgia International Horse Park and Lakeview Estates neighborhood.
