Rockdale voters who want to cast their ballots early but are busy during the week can take advantage of Saturday voting on Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at 1400 Parker Road.
The hours for in-person early voting are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday for Oct. 13-24 and 27-28. Saturday voting on Oct. 25 runs 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The hours extend longer 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. for Oct. 28-31.
Absentee voting by mail started Sept. 19, and in-person early voting starts Oct. 13 at 1400 Parker Road; both run until Oct. 31.
Any registered Georgia voter can vote early. When going to cast your ballot, make sure you bring photo identification, which can be a Georgia driver's license, a state-issued voter ID card, a valid U.S. passport or a valid U.S. military ID card.
Election Day voting on Nov. 4 will take place at the voters precinct polls.

Early voting turnout
So far, as of Wednesday, Oct. 22, a little more than 11 percent, or 5,514, of Rockdale's active registered voters have cast their ballots early.
Of those, 924 were mail-in ballots and 5,514 were in-person early voting at 1400 Parker Road.
The precinct with the highest turnout is St. Pius with 14.69 percent and the lowetst is Olde Town with 7.22 percent.
