Salem sure plays a mean pin ball

Tommy Boy: Salem High School Theatre is performing the Tony Award winning rock musical, "The Who’s Tommy" tonight at 7:30 and again Sunday at 2 a.m. After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's boyfriend by his father, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia, and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he is discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball, and when his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, he becomes an international pinball superstar. The show will be performed at Salem High School April 22, 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and April 25 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
