Runners, walkers to raise money for Rockdale Emergency Relief, June 6

The inaugural Run for Relief will be held June 6  at the Georgia International Horse Park. Registration starts at noon, 1-mile fun run starts at 2 p.m., and 5K trail run/walk starts at 2:30 p.m.

Proceeds support the Rockdale County Emergency Relief Fund and Housing Retention and Financial Assistance Program. The RER offers short-term financial aid to Rockdale County residents in danger of losing their homes.

Preregistration is $20 per adult and $50 per family. Registration after May 30 is $25 per adult and $60 per family. For information, e-mail RERAshley@bellsouth.net
