Mr. Rufus "Buck" Adams, age 71 of Conyers, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011. He is survived by his friend, Barbara Barrentine; sons, Tony Adams, Timmy Adams, Teddy Adams; daughter, Debra Payne; granddaughters, Ashton Clair, Amanda Clair; sister, Rose Devore; brother, Gerald Adams. Mr. Adams was a Seaman Recruit in the United States Navy on a U S S submarine and served in Vietnam. He was a life-time member of the V.F.W. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Nolan Jackson officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
