Ruby Sue Irvin Morrison of Conyers, died at Westbury Health and Rehab Center, January 5.

Mrs. Morrison was born June 4, 1927, in Marshal County, AL, to the late Crofford and Vernon (Bullard) Irvin. A former resident of Gadsden, AL, Mrs. Morrison was a resident of Conyers for the past 12 years. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Morrison; sisters Ollie Morton, Brenda Burkelow, and Rita Richardson; brothers Welmer Irvin and Hubert Irvin. Mrs. Morrison is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Melisa Morrison of Conyers, Kenneth and Mickey Morrison of Dacula; grandsons Matt and Michal Morrison of Conyers, Doug and Erin Morrison, Tim and Sandy Morrison all of Cartersville, Chris and Stephanie Morrison of Atlanta; great-grandchildren Hayden, Haylee, Grant, Zachary and Cooper; sister Mairlyn and Loyd Clemons of Boaz, AL; brother Sidney and Carol Irvin of Ringgold; sisters-in-law Faye and Brice Medlock, Zelma and Ed Minor, all of Syracuse, IN; several nieces and nephews. The family gives special thanks to the staff of Westbury Health and Rehab Center for their loving care and concern for their mother.

Graveside services for Mrs. Morrison will be held Monday, January 7, 11 AM, at Union Methodist Church, Hwy 168 East, Double Bridges, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Village Chapel Funeral Home, 101 Van Dell Blvd., Gadsden, AL.
