Nearly 25 talented Rockdale Medical employees and one doctor participated in Rockdale Medical Center's American Idol competition on Friday, May 8, in celebration of National Hospital Week.

For $5 employees could wear blue jeans for the day and received lunch and a ticket to vote for their favorite Idol. Lunch was provided by the hospital and the money raised, approximately $800, is being given to the Rockdale Emergency Relief Food Bank. In addition, the winner of the contest received a check for $500 for their favorite charity. Northrop will donate her $500 to the Turner Syndrome Society, Georgia Chapter.
