Rockdale County Fire-Rescue (RCFR) is now accepting applications for the position of Firefighter until Friday, June 12.

Applications will be available at www.rockdalecounty.org.

Individuals who wish to apply can also use the Conyers Library for computer and internet use.

Additionally, brochures with helpful information about becoming a Firefighter will be available at every one of the County's nine fire stations, so RCFR encourages citizens to stop by one of them to pick up a brochure.

The entire hiring process will run through August, with a tentative start date in September for selected candidates.
