Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) will hold a town hall on Aug. 10, on health care reform legislation proposals being debated and drafted by Congress.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Georgia Perimeter College’s Cole Auditorium, 555 N. Indian Creek Dr., Clarkston. Johnson and his staff will update the status of health care proposals, a panel of health care professionals and advocates will discuss reform and the final hour will be open to the public for questions and comments.

The panel will be comprised of health care professionals from Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital, DeKalb Medical Center and the DeKalb Health Department, and will include representatives from the AARP and the American Cancer Society.
