The month of the young child: More than 500 pre-kindergarten students along with teachers, parents, aides and caretakers trekked from 1400 Parker Road, over the Parker Road bridge, and ended at the Nancy Guinn Library on Friday morning in the inaugural Pre-K Walk. The walk was held in celebration of April as the Month of the Young Child, child abuse prevention awareness, and kindergarten readiness.
