Sheriff Eric Levett and Chief Deputy Scott Freeman recognized the following deputies on their recent promotions. 

Back row from left to right: Jonathan Walsh is promoted to the rank of Sergeant, Edell Davis is promoted to the rank of Corporal, Shawn Edenfield is promoted to the rank of Sergeant, Patrick Smith is promoted to the rank of Corporal, Tim O’Conner is promoted to the rank of Investigator. Front row, from left to right: Jeremy Mote is promoted to the rank of Sergeant, Andy Arnold is transferred into Administration, Dexter Harris is promoted to the rank of Corporal, Kelly Pugh is promoted to the rank of Investigator, Travus Blevins (not pictured) is promoted to the rank of Investigator.

Each deputy was required to pass a written test and undergo an external panel interview to earn advancement within the Sheriff’s Office.
