Rockdale Career Academy students performed well at the state SkillsUSA competition March 15. The first place winners will travel to Kansas City in June to compete at the National Conference.

Winners were: Jasmine Davis, 2nd place Pin Design; Jonathan Guest, 1st place Internetworking; Scott Belanger and Kenneth Spencer, 2nd place Digital Cinema Production, 3rd place SkillsUSA Commercial; Devin Bussey, 2nd place Firefighting; Joseph McClarin, 2nd place Criminal Justice; Jaray Mitchell, Quantavis Garcia, Brandon Olgesby and William Treadwell, 2nd place Tactical Team; Heath Gleason and Randy Reeves, 1st place TV Production; Crystal Brockington, Logan Bouchillon, Tierra Woods and Rebekah Howington,  2nd place Broadcast News Production; Hector Moran,  1st place Telecom Cabling.
