Adam Nation is working his dream job at just 18 years old.

Nation started at National EMS about a month ago, staying in and serving the county where he has spent his entire life.

Nation graduated from DeKalb Tech on May 9, after studying for his career at Rockdale Career Academy. At RCA Nation took health care and first responder classes in preparation for his current job as a first responder.

"It was tough to find a job," Nation said. "Most places hire when you're 21.

"(National EMS) hired me because they had the insurance resources to hire someone so young, and I lived in Rockdale my whole life."
