Conyers Police are warning that residents have reported phone calls advertising free medical alert devices with payment of monitoring fees.

The scammers reportedly request your credit card information or bank account information. Residents are warned not to give out  personal information that would put you at risk of identity or financial fraud.

Should you receive such a call, take down as much of their information as you can and report it to the police.

You can reach Conyers Police Department's non-emergency number at 770-483-6600.
