Police looking for two men from AT&T store armed robbery

Conyers police are looking for two suspects that held up employees of the AT&T store on Ga. Highway 20 at gunpoint on Friday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., two young black males armed with semi-automatic pistols entered the AT&T cellphone store at 2239 Ga. Highway 20 South in the Conyers Commons shopping center, shortly before closing time.

The suspects were dressed with hooded sweatshirts, skull-cap hats, and red bandanas over their faces.One suspect was wearing white tennis shoes with black soles and black laces, and the other suspect was wearing dark tennis shoes and had a hat with a white tag. Both were described as young, approximately 18-20 years old, and slim in build.

The two female employees were held at gunpoint while the suspects searched through the drawers for money, according to CPD Lt. Jackie Dunn. The suspects then instructed the employees to count to 30 and fled north on foot through the parking lot.
