Police are offering a reward for help in tracking down a trio of brazen burglars that robbed a Conyers pawn store last Wednesday.
Shortly before 6 a.m. security camera footage at the newly built Pawn Mart on Dogwood Drive showed three young black males at the front window of the store.
According to Conyers police reports, one subject began to throw a large rock repeatedly at the double-pane glass and kick the window in an attempt to break a hole large enough to enter.
The first suspect that came through had black jeans, T-shirt, and sneakers along with a red and dark blue baseball cap and a white shirt tied around his face. The second suspect that entered had a blue hoodie, red and dark blue baseball cap, gray jeans, gray Nike sneakers. The third suspect has a black T-shirt and jeans, a red bandana around the lower half of his face, and a bleached blond streak in his hair.
This last suspect also briefly pulled out a black hand gun which he put back in his pocket.
"Burglars usually don’t have guns," said CPD Lt. Jack Dunn. "That’s a dangerous situation, had an officer pulled up or was there an employee inside."
The suspects went straignt for three flat screen televisions, ranging from 37 to 42 inches. "They knew where what they wanted was," said Dunn. The televisions could also be seen from the roadway, said Dunn.
