School might be out for the summer, but some Rockdale County Public Schools students are keeping their minds sharp by exploring new fields and new worlds in Enrichment Camps this summer.

Courses offered for middle school students include "Cooking Up Culture," "LEGO Robotics and Mini Tournaments," "Wow! World of Wonder" for exploring hands-on science, and "When am I going to use this again? Real Life Mathematics Applications."

For elementary school students, courses include "Viva Italia!," "The Life of the Forrest," "All About Pets," and "South of the Border" exploring Mexican culture and geography, and "LEGO Robotics and Mini Tournaments."

This year, courses were offered in morning sessions and afternoon sessions at Rockdale Career Academy.

Here are a few scenes.
