The Parker Road bridge will be temporarily closed to traffic on Saturday, March 10 from 2:30 p.m.-3:15 p.m. Local Girl Scout troops will be crossing the bridge to symbolically cross over to the next century of the Girl Scout movement.The year 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts founded by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Georgia.

Motorists are advised to avoid this area during this time. Barring any unexpected delays, the bridge should reopen no later than 3:30 p.m.
