The Rockdale County Public Schools Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will sponsor its inaugural Parents are Powerful Rally and Roadside Campaign on Saturday, February 27.

The event is being held as part of the district's National Parent Leadership Month activities, which will recognize, honor, and celebrate parents for their vital leadership roles in their homes and communities. PAC is seeking county-wide support for the Rally and Roadside Campaign with the goal of inspiring even greater parent participation in schools and between parents and their children at home.

The Parents are Powerful Rally is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Rockdale Career Academy and the subsequent Roadside Campaign will be at Burlingotn Coat Factory, WalMart and Target. The rally will feature a lively program designed to celebrate parents.
