If you are looking for something fun and close by to do with your friends and family today, we have a suggestion for you:

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the annual Taste of Conyers and the Conyers Car Show will take place in Olde Town.

At last count, at least 20 restaurants were offering their wares to folks at $1-$4 per sample. There will be live entertainment, plenty of activities for children and a cake decorating contest hosted by the Conyers/Rockdale Council for the Arts. There will also be drool-worthy classic cars and hot rods to view.

We have a great downtown here in Conyers, and the Main Street Program group, under the direction of Monica Coffin, brings all kinds of great events to Olde Town.
