The great day itself is almost upon us, and the streets of Olde Town Conyers will be alive with green and cheer next Friday as the city celebrates the grandest day of all - St. Patrick's Day.

The annual World's Fastest Growing St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and is open to anybody who would like to participate.

Following the parade is the fourth annual World's Shortest Endurance Run of 0.1 miles, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rockdale.

You probably didn't know there were so many world renown events in a small place like Conyers-Rockdale.

If you have never enjoyed St Patrick's Day in Olde Town Conyers, do yourself a favor: load the whole family up including the pets and join your neighbors and friends for a grand afternoon and evening of cheer and merriment.
