Recently the Rockdale County fire and rescue team purchased seven defibrillators to be placed around the county at public facilities, including the Nancy Guinn Public Library. This purchase was made possible through an $11,000 grant by the Hospital Authority of Rockdale County. This partnership with the Hospital Authority and the Fire and Rescue team is a great positive for this community. If just one life is saved because the placement of the defibrillators it will more than justify the cost.
