Olde Jail Museum training, Sept. 21

The Rockdale County Historical Society is reaching out to history buffs of all kinds to attend an Old Jail Museum Informational Training Session on Sunday, Sept. 21, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., at 967 Milstead Avenue, next to the Rockdale County Courthouse.

This is an opportunity for you to learn the history of the Old Jail, built in circa 1897. This historic building once served as the sheriff's office, his family's living quarters, along side it there being a jail. Come hear facts, as well as, anecdotes about the building. The Board of Trustees is reaching out to all its members, and friends, to inform you of this preserved historic treasure.
