Mrs. Norma Ethelyn Billings Poole of Conyers, GA, age 91, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Conyers, GA.  Funeral services will be held at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel in Conyers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011 with the Rev. Howard Greer officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral service.  Interment at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens will follow the service.  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Hugh Poole, Jr., D.D.S. and Joyce P. Poole of Evans, GA, nephews and a niece.  Mrs. Poole was born on February 9, 1919 in Atlanta, GA.  She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Thomas Hugh Poole, Sr., and her parents, Ethel Mae Richardson and Roy Robert Billings.  Mrs. Poole has been a resident of Conyers for over forty years.  Her late husband retired as a Captain of the Atlanta Fire Department.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Conyers, Co-Workers Class, where she led devotionals for Sunday School and the XYZ Club.  In recent years, she also attended First Methodist Church of Conyers.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 5290 VFW, in honor of her father's World War I service, and volunteered for them at Seasons Nursing Home.  Honorary pall bearers are Frank Mann, Kenny Mann, Clint Cooper, Grady Watts, and Raymond Moody.  The family wishes to express its gratitude to the employees of Remington House Assisted Living and Abbey Hospice.  If so desired, memorials may be made to The Methodist Children's Home, 500 S.
