At Home Hospice, a branch of Health Care Solutions of America, is in the process of building an inpatient center on Salem Road near Ellington Road.

The Hospice currently only offers home visits based out of their Milstead Ave. location.

"An Inpatient unit is used for uncontrolled symptoms," said Daniel Edwards, vice president of business development for the area. "Normally it’s for a short period of time. One week to two weeks."

The new facility will feature 12 beds and should be finished by September.
