Invitations were extended to all local and state candidates.
The forum will be moderated by previous Georgia Perimeter College President Jaquelyn Belcher. The final format of the event is still being determined, said Political Action Chairperson Karen James, but the candidates will have some time to talk about themselves and then will take questions from the audience. The audience will be able to write their questions on cards that will be handed in and read by Belcher.
The purpose of the forum is to "educate the public on the candidates, give them an opportunity to interact and to get their questions answered. And to give them input into the candidates policies," said James.
The public is invited and members of the public that cannot attend on Wednesday night can still submit their questions by emailing karenjames2507@comcast.net or calling 678-457-2795.
