Music Man takes the stage

The sound of 76 trombones will fill the air as the Heritage High School Patriot Players present "The Music Man" this week and next.

Under the guidance of director Michelle Thorne, musical director Terrence Green, choreographer Heather Bragg, this beloved classic musical stars senior David Miller as con man Professor Harold Hill and senior Caroline Benson as Hill's love interest librarian Marian Paroo. Jim Thorne is the technical director, Rick Caruso and Mike Taylor lead set design, Sheila Ezell is production manager, and children's directors are Abby Taylor and Hannah Caruso.

The musical debuts Thursday night and will play April 20-21, 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 22 and 29 at 2:30 p.m. at the Heritage High School theater, 2400 Granade Rd., Conyers. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students. For the box office, call 770-761-9073.
