What appeared to be a counterfeit money printing operation and methamphetamine were found at a Rockdale residence when Rockdale County Sheriff's Office and Newton County Sheriff's Office deputies served a search warrant for a wanted suspect.
Billy Warren Wilson III had an active warrant against him out of Newton County for trafficking methamphetamine. Investigators received information that Wilson was staying at the location of a girlfriend in Rockdale.
When deputies arrived at the home on Goode Road in January, the home owner answered the door and said Wilson was not there.
Deputies asked the homeowner "if they could search the residence for Billy Wilson's person and she said 'Yes.'"
In a room that was Wilson's girlfriend's room, deputies found an open cabinet with what appeared to be methamphetamine.
"Also inside the room there was what appeared to be counterfeit money being printed on both sheets of paper with the front and back of U.S. currency," wrote the reporting deputy. A printer with margins taped onto it was also found in the room.
Wilson was found and put under arrest.
Nortavis Quintrell Nolley, 33, of Covington and James Patrick Hurley, 21, of Covington were in the room within reach of the drugs and counterfeit money at the time and were charged with second degree forgery. Both were also recently charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Cassandra Lynn Arnold, 27, of Conyers, whose room contained the meth and funny money, was also charged with second degree forgery.
