A Covington man was ticketed for littering after being caught on camera placing feces in a neighbor's mailbox.

Police were called to the home of Benjamin Dameron and Ralph Miller, owners of Worthington Manor, Saturday afternoon, after a bag containing dog feces was found in their mailbox.

A video from the surveillance camera showed community leader Bob Furnad walking past with his dog, glancing up the driveway and then placing a bag in the mailbox.

Dameron and Miller declined to comment on the incident.

Furnad said, "This was an immature act in response to years of malicious rumor mongering that I consider defamation of character."
