A warrant for burglary and aggravated assault was obtained on Jesus Moya, 40, on June 18. The charge was placed by the assault victim and owner of a home on Landola Drive. The victim claimed that Moya had entered the home on Landola Drive. She also stated that Moya was armed with a knife and confronted her as she entered her home. After calling authorities, Moya fled the scene by foot.

After the officer arrived at the residence, the victim showed the officer where it was thought the intruder had entered. Even though there were no signs of forced entry to any windows or doors. The victim continued to explain that Moya could have entered the home with the knife. The victim also showed the officer alcoholic beverage cans on the property and stated that she suspected the intruder was also drinking.

Although the perpetrator had left the scene of the incident, the victim stated that she felt threatened by Mr. Moya and proceeded to take out the burglary and aggravated assault charges. Even after several attempts to make contact with Moya, at two separate addresses, police authorities were unable to get in touch with the accused.
