Local swim team competes at state
The Rockdale County swim team sent a slew of swimmers (pictured) to last week’s state meet after qualifying in district competition. Delaney Willette won the 7-8-year-old girls’ 100-yard individual medley and the 25-yard breaststroke, while Matthew Tibbetts also took the 100 title in the 15-18 age group along with the 50-yard breaststroke crown.
