From noon Sunday, Aug. 17, until noon Friday, Aug. 22 one lane at a time on I-20 east and west from mile marker 92-95 in Newton County will be closed.

One side at a time will be closed during the work, according to the Georgia Department of Transportaiton.

Heavy equipment will be entering and exiting the highway at this location. Flagman may be used for this work. Motorists are asked to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in work zones.
