Mr. Joseph S. Crowe, age 87 of Conyers, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Carol Crowe Cook; son-in-law, Wes Cook; and grandson, Jay Cook, all of McDonough; as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Mrs. Dorothy B. Crowe.  Mr. Crowe retired from MARTA in 1985 after 39 years of service and was a World War II Navy veteran.  He was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church, of which he was recently recognized as a 25-year charter member of the Emmanuel Sunday School Class.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church with Rev.
