Mr. Jess Parker, age 43 of Covington, a devoted husband and father, died Monday, April 4, 2011.  He is survived by his wife, Sonya Trexler Parker, Covington; son, Andrew Parker, Covington; mother, Sheila Ingram Parker, Covington; father, John Andrew Parker, Conyers; grandmother, Ruth Wade Parker, Conyers; brothers, Andy Parker, Chuck Parker, James Parker; mother-in-law, Edna B. Tanner; father-in-law, Buddy Trexler; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Mr. Parker was a member of Sewell United Methodist Church.  He graduated from Redan High School and Georgia Tech University.  He worked as a project manager with Haver Filling Systems for 20 years.  Jess coached his son in baseball for many years.  He loved being with his family, WrestleMania and everything about Elvis.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Richard Harris, Rev. Mike Nickolich and Rev.
