Mr. Jeffrey "Jeff" David Mayo, age 48 of Conyers, died Sunday, November 6, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Eva Collins, Clyde and Elbert Wesder. He is survived by his wife, Amy Mayo, Conyers; sons, David Thomas Mayo, Loganville, Dillon Mayo, Conyers; daughter, Brenda Moon, Conyers; parents, Joyce and David Mayo, Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Kristy Mayo, Covington; father-in-law, Larry Moon, Locust Grove; mother-in-law, Janice Moon, Conyers; sister-in-law, Jennifer Moon, San Diego, CA. Mr. Mayo was a 1981 graduate of Heritage High School and a 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia. He was a member of the Covington Elk Lodge 1806. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Georgia football. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Clack Stubbs and Pastor Joe Hughes officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
