The streets of Olde Town were buzzing Friday as families, adults, and new visitors relaxed to the sounds of jazz, rock, and soul in the warm summer night.

Businesses were happy to see the crowd, said Main Street Conyers Director Monica Coffin. "Everyone was very excited about the turnout for the first Jazz in July. It's actually drawing new people to Olde Town to experience the music and dine at our restaurants. We definitely think it's successful and look forward to seeing it continue to grow."

The Jazz in July series schedule, which starts at 6 p.m. on Fridays in July, is as follows:

July 8 – Leeland Davis Trio, with singer Rebecca Davis
July 15 – Heart & Soul
July 22 – Leeland Davis Trio
July 29 – Stratocats
