Mrs. Jackie Sorrow, age 76 of Conyers, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Charles Sorrow, Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Vicki Sorrow, Summerville, SC, Ronnie Sorrow, Conyers, Reny and Paige Sorrow, McDonough, Russ and Linda Sorrow, Tyrone; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sorrow attended First Baptist Church of Conyers. She worked in DeKalb County Schools for 20 years and she especially loved selling AVON for over 40 years to her friends and devoted clients. She touched countless lives through her work in the church for many years. Jackie had a wonderful hobby - she loved and collected lighthouses and traveled all over the United States visiting, photographing, and climbing lighthouses. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Larry Morris, Rev. Jim Waddle, and Rev. Randy Sorrow officiating; interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Forest Park. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
