As far as we are concerned there is never an excuse for a business to tolerate employees who in any way are not helpful and even rude to their customers. The sad part of this is that many owners are absentee and do not even realize that this is happening until it's too late.

Adam Malley, the owner of Conyers Pro Important Service Center in Rockdale County, recognizes the importance of customer service and as result his business is successful because his customers continue to come back. But not only does Malley practice what he preaches within his business, he is willing to put his money where his mouth is and recognize good customer service in any business - even those of his competitors.

He started a program called "Part of the Solution" that encourages customers to contact him with the news of the good, honest and cheerful service that is performed by area business.

Each month Malley and a committee will select a business whose employees have gone above and beyond to work with their customers. That business will be awarded with a $50 gift certificate to Conyers Pro Import.

Fred Boscarino, the President and CEO of the local chamber recently praised Malley's efforts. We here at the Rockdale News are proud to participate with him on this project.
