Identity of dead man a mystery

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in the woods.

 On December 17, 2010, the skeletal remains of an unidentified person were discovered in a wooded area near Salem Road and Ellington Road. The body is believed to have been there for approximately six to eight months.

An autopsy was performed and no foul play is suspected. The person is believed to have died from a natural causes, according to the RCSO.

 The autopsy concluded that the body was that of a black male, between the ages of 15 and 24. The unidentified male is between 5’4” and 5’10” tall, with an unknown weight.

 The clothing worn by the male was a large white t-shirt, size 46 x 32 beige Dickies brand pants, and size 10½ No Boundaries brand slip-on shoes.
