hf3sm

Honor Flight Conyers is flying high with its sixth trip bringing World War II veterans for a day-trip to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial and other memorials.

The veterans and their guardians met in the wee morning hours from the American Legion Post 77 for escorted transportation to Hartsfield-Jackson International to catch their flight.

Honor Flight Conyers provides day-trips for WWII veterans throughout Georgia free of charge to visit monuments and memorials such as the WWII Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. Guardians who accompany each veteran must pay their own way.
