Just in time for the Memorial Day holiday, Honor Flight Conyers is in Washington D.C. today creating lifelong memories with a third set of 25 World War II veterans from Georgia. The group departed at 5 a.m. for the day long trip to visit the WWII memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and other historic monuments and will return at 10 p.m. to American Legion Post 77 on Ga. Highway 138 in Conyers.
