The Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce is once again teaming with NUVISION Financial Corporation to co-host a seminar on Health Care Reform.

The seminar will focus on the State Health Exchanges and the Individual and Employer Mandates for 2014. The guest presenter will be Suzanne Spradley, Senior Vice President, Legal and Compliance Senior Counsel at NFP, a national leader in the employee benefits market. The presentation will be geared toward large and small employers and business owners, human resources professionals, consultants and attorneys.

"We are excited to be working with the Chamber for this event, and we are excited about bringing in someone with Suzanne's credentials and background in law and compliance to present on this topic," said Tony L. Wilson, a Principal with NUVISION, a Conyers-based subsidiary of NFP. "Three years into the law's existence we are still finding people with questions and seeking assistance with the various aspects of Health Care Reform, and with Suzanne's help we can provide some much needed guidance."

Chamber Board Chair Thua Barlay added, "We are proud to once again partner with NUVISION to continue to educate our members and local businesses on the changes with the enactment of the new health care law."

The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the auditorium at Rockdale Career Academy. Cost is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Lunch will be catered by students from RCA's Culinary Arts Program. Also, the seminar is pending approval for 1 recertification credit hour toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
