The winners are: The Georgia Golden Olympics was held Sept. 22-25 in Warner Robins. Citizens aged 50 and older competed in 71 events over the four day event. Rockdale County had 16 participants: Frank Zahm, Mazel Lindo, Charles Ross, Marilyn Hohne, George Littlejohn, Clarence Watson, Alma Wright, Lulu Dyson, Willie Dyson, Wessel Henry, Cynthia Henry, Ouida Moore, Lois Huff, James Compton, Dorothea Cox and David Foster.

At the Oct. 1 Rockdale Senior Center recognition, the olympians were recognized for their outstanding efforts.
