Mrs. Gayle A. Weilbaker, age 74 of Covington, a retired X-ray technician with Newton Medical Center, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip B. Weilbaker. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Felecia Weilbaker, Covington, Alan Weilbaker, Covington; daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Gerald English, Conyers, Susan P. Weilbaker, Covington, April Weilbaker, Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grover and Brenda Cobb, Davisboro, Ray and Karen Cobb, Davisboro; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Herman Tanner, Davisboro; grandchildren, Dalyn Weilbaker, Covington, Christopher English, Newborn, Jennifer McCollough, Conyers, Amanda English, Conyers; great-grandchildren, Skylar English, Covington, Caden English, Conyers; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Weilbaker was a member of Union Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. Howard Greer officiating; interment will follow at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 12 - 2 p.m. prior to the service.
