CONYERS - A two-vehicle accident on the state route 138 bridge over Interstate 20 has closed lanes and caused traffic to be detoured away from the bridge area.

A green SUV T-boned a tractor trailer that was traveling northbound on 138 after the SUV exited off of the westbound lanes of I-20. The impact caused the tractor trailer to leak fuel and other fluids causing hazardous conditions on the roadways.

The bridge north bound and south bound lanes are currently not open to traffic, and the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office deputies are diverting all incoming traffic to I-20.

The vehicle collision occurred sometime this afternoon.

It's not known at this moment if there are any injuries. Check back later for more details.
