The National Weather Service at Peachtree City has issued a frost advisory for 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 for most of north and central Georgia, including Rockdale and Newton counties. Temperatures may dip to the lower to mid-30s. Take precautions for outdoor pets and sensitive outdoor plants.
