Mr. Frederick C. Skolfield, age 86 of Conyers, GA, died December 21, 2010. He is survived by Ruth Skolfield, his wife of 61 years; 4 daughters, Carol & Michael Long, Jefferson, GA, Linda & Richard Williamson, Grayson, GA, Gayle & Ken Edwards, Monroe, GA, Sandra & Mark Thompson, Conyers, GA; 7 grandchildren, Brittney & Brian Stoops, Monroe, GA, Kenneth & Ashley Christie, Lawrenceville, GA, Michael & Lacy Christie, Raleigh, NC, Kelly & Kevin Lee, Sandy Springs, GA, Kristi & Sam Roberson, Monroe, GA, Christopher Thompson, Conyers, GA, Jenna Thompson, Conyers, GA; 4 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Mr. Skolfield retired from CWC after 30 years and served in the Air Force during WWII as a B24 Pilot. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. Mark George officiating; private interment services will be held.
