On this day, the 20th of August in the year of our Lord 2010, another one of His children was called home to be with Him.  For those of us who are left our sorrow is great, but a glorious celebration awaits us when He calls those who have chosen Him.  He was a most loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was a contractor/builder, but nothing to compare to the home awaiting Him in Heaven.  He is survived by his wife, Elaine Reagin Goddard, who lovingly and diligently cared for him during his long illness.  He is also survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Beth Goddard, Blairsville, Craig and Christi Goddard, McDonough; grandchildren, Lacey and Camden Goddard, Blairsville, Tyler and Ben Goddard, McDonough; sisters, Louise and Charles Milford, Social Circle, Lois and Ken Trotter, McDonough, Martha Ann and Don Ehlers, Carrollton; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Goddard, Covington, Ellen and Floyd Frix, Conyers, Addie Maude Reagin, McDonough; brother-in-law, Roy and Sandra Reagin, Conyers; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Mrs. Nell Shelton.  Mrs. Nell has been a constant companion and caregiver for Fred and Elaine for 8 months.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev.
